Role Description The Chartered Accountant will manage and oversee financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities for University Living’s operations. This full-time, on-site role in Noida involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledgers, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role includes handling taxation matters, supporting audits, monitoring cash flows,



and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

The Chartered

Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, improve internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. The role also involves regular reconciliation of accounts, reviewing transactions for accuracy, and supporting process improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2 years of experience with strong grounding in financial accounting, reporting, and auditing.
- Experience of zoho books , xero .
- Experience in taxation, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with relevant laws and standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS as applicable).
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and robust internal controls.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (auditors, consultants, partners).
- Prior experience in startups, SaaS, or marketplace-based businesses is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
