Sathvar provides professional services to businesses across accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, advisory and international business requirements.

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (0–1 year experience) to support financial reporting and finance operations for Indian manufacturing businesses. The role will involve working closely with client finance teams and Sathvar’s delivery team to ensure accurate, timely and decision-ready financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
- Prepare management reporting packs and financial summaries.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyse revenue, expenses, margins, working capital and key financial movements.
- Prepare account schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Identify unusual variances and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution.

Manufacturing

- Understand manufacturing accounting and cost structures.
- Analyse raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods movements.
- Review inventory valuation and related accounting adjustments.
- Analyse manufacturing costs, production variances and gross margins.
- Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation and capital expenditure reporting.
- Review inventory, receivables, payables and other working-capital balances.

MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly MIS reports and KPIs.
- Support weekly/monthly business performance reporting as per the client's review policy.
- Prepare variance analysis against budget,



previous periods and business expectations.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Accounting & Compliance Coordination

- Review accounting entries and general ledger balances.
- Perform bank, ledger, customer, vendor and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate with accounting and tax teams for statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure reporting is supported by proper working papers and documentation.
- Assist in audit preparation and respond to audit-related information requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–1 year of experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
- Good understanding of manufacturing accounting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with client finance teams and meet reporting timelines.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, audit, accounting or financial reporting will be preferred.
