Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting &

- MIS

- Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports with insightful variance analysis.

- Drive accuracy and timelines in financial reporting, including Profit &
- Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

- Provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Cash Flow &

- Working Capital Management

- Own weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting, monitoring liquidity and optimizing working capital.

- Track receivables and payables closely to ensure efficient cash cycle management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cash flow visibility and predictability.

Receivables &

- Collections

- Oversee accounts receivable and collection processes, including ageing analysis.

- Coordinate with business/marketing teams for timely recovery of overdue receivables.

- Implement controls and strategies to minimize bad debts and improve collection efficiency.

Month-End &

- Year-End Close

- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.

- Review general ledger entries and ensure data integrity.

Financial Planning &

- Analysis (FP&A;)

- Conduct detailed variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks,



and opportunities for optimization.

- Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Board &

- Management Reporting

- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for Board of Directors and senior leadership.

- Translate complex financial information into clear business insights.

Systems &

- Process Improvement

- Drive automation and improvements in financial reporting and accounting processes.

- Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and accounting tools.

- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Ad-Hoc Projects &

- Strategic Support

- Lead/support special projects, including financial modeling, process improvements, and business initiatives.

- Assist in strategic decision-making through financial evaluation and scenario analysis.

Technical Skills Required

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, dashboards)

- Strong working knowledge of Tally

- Experience with SAP or ERP systems (preferred)

- Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial storytelling
