CCTV Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking, and basic electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
- Perform CCTV system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Configure IP cameras and basic network settings such as IP addresses, routers, and switches.
- Diagnose camera, recording, connectivity, and power-related issues.
- Conduct site visits for installation, service, and maintenance.
- Ensure proper camera positioning, cabling, and system functionality.
- Configure remote CCTV viewing on mobile phones and computers.
- Maintain service records and provide basic technical support to customers.
- Follow safety procedures and company installation standards.
- Coordinate with customers and the internal team to complete work on time.

Requirements




- ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in CCTV installation and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of DVR/NVR, IP cameras, PoE switches, and networking.
- Basic knowledge of LAN cabling, RJ45 termination, and network configuration.
- Ability to use basic electrical and networking tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
