Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Cashier to join our team at Relief Medicals. The Cashier will be responsible for accurate billing, handling cash and digital payments, assisting customers, and maintaining proper transaction records.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle billing and checkout operations accurately and efficiently.
- Generate invoices for medicines, healthcare products, cosmetics, surgical products, and other items.
- Receive cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment methods.
- Verify payments and provide accurate receipts to customers.
- Maintain proper cash balance and ensure accuracy of daily transactions.
- Handle refunds, cancellations, and payment adjustments according to company procedures.
- Assist customers with billing-related queries.
- Coordinate with pharmacists and sales staff to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction information.
- Perform daily cash closing and reconciliation.
- Report any cash shortage, excess, or billing discrepancy to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized billing counter.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and billing.





Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / equivalent.
- Previous cashier, billing, retail, pharmacy, or customer-service experience is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with pharmacy billing/POS software is an advantage.
- Good numerical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, responsible, and customer-friendly.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.

Preferred Experience 0–3 years of experience in cashier, billing, retail, pharmacy, or similar roles.
