Overview: A carpenter for an interior firm installs, assembles, and finishes custom woodwork and modular furniture based on interior design plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Modular Installation: Fit and install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV units, lofts, and custom storage.

- Reading Drawings: Interpret interior blueprints, sketches, and 3D design drawings for accurate execution.

- Cutting and Shaping: Measure, cut, drill, and shape wood, plywood, laminates, and MDF panels using hand and power tools.

- Finishing and Alignment: Ensure proper alignment, leveling, smooth edges, and clean final finishes for all fittings.

- Site Coordination: Work with interior designers, project managers, and site supervisors to meet project timelines.

Requirements and Skills

- Experience:



2 to 4 years of proven experience in residential or commercial interior carpentry.

- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using power saws, routers, drills, sanders, and measuring equipment.

- Attention to Detail: High precision in measuring dimensions to avoid material wastage and ensure a clean look.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work on-site.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
