Role Description The Cargo Agent role at AISATS is a full-time, in office position based at Delhi, India.

The Cargo

Agent is responsible for coordinating and processing export and import cargo, including receiving, documentation verification, cargo buildup, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. This role involves handling freight in accordance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements, supporting warehouse operations, and working with equipment such as forklifts and other cargo handling tools.

The Cargo

Agent interacts with airline representatives, freight forwarders, and internal teams to provide accurate information,



resolve operational issues, and maintain service standards. Daily activities include updating cargo records in systems, ensuring proper labeling and storage, adhering to standard operating procedures, and contributing to a safe, efficient cargo environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with airline staff, freight forwarders, and internal teams, and to handle customer queries clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Cargo Handling and Freight skills, including experience in cargo buildup, segregation, warehouse operations, and safe loading/unloading of shipments.
- Candidates should possess Export process knowledge, including documentation checking, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with airline and customs requirements for outbound cargo.
- Candidates should possess Forklift Operation skills or experience with similar cargo handling equipment, following all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in air cargo, logistics, or airport operations, along with basic computer literacy and the ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; a vocational qualification or certification in logistics, warehouse operations, or aviation services is an advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, physical fitness for manual handling tasks, and a strong focus on safety and security.
