Role Description The Canada IT Recruiter role is a full-time, remote position responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled technology professionals across Canada for Rockland Tech Hub and its clients. In this role, the recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including job intake with hiring managers, creating job postings, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating technical interviews and assessments.

The recruiter maintains talent pipelines for key IT roles, builds relationships with candidates, and ensures a positive, inclusive candidate experience throughout the process. Daily activities also include collaborating with internal teams to understand technical requirements, negotiating offers,



supporting onboarding, and updating recruitment metrics and reports to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-life Cycle Recruiting, covering requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Candidates should possess hands-on IT Recruitment and Technical Recruiting skills to fill roles such as developers, QA engineers, DevOps, cloud specialists, and other technology positions.
- Candidates should possess solid Hiring and Recruiting skills, including talent pipeline development, candidate relationship management, and coordination with hiring managers.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical requirements clearly to both candidates and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple requisitions, prioritize tasks, and meet hiring timelines in a remote environment.
- Experience recruiting within the Canadian IT market, with knowledge of local employment practices and talent pools, is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), qualified networking platforms, and modern sourcing tools is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in technical recruiting, is an asset.
