CAE Software Engineer

About the Role

CAETutor Learning Services is looking for a motivated CAE Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The role is suitable for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in combining CAE/engineering knowledge with software development.

The selected candidate will work on software solutions and engineering applications related to Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), with a focus on C#/C++ development, problem solving, performance optimization, and application reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain C#/C++ software solutions for CAE and engineering applications.
- Work on software modules, features, and tools used in CAE workflows.
- Understand engineering requirements and convert them into software solutions.
- Write clean, structured, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Collaborate with engineering and software teams to deliver project requirements.
- Participate in testing, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement of software applications.
- Learn and work with CAE concepts, engineering workflows, and relevant software technologies.

Required Skills

- Basic to good knowledge of C++ or C#.
- Good programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Solid logical and problem-solving ability.




- Basic understanding of software development and debugging.
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Interest in CAE / engineering software development.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other CAE concepts.
- Familiarity with CAE software or engineering simulation tools.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of software development practices such as Git/version control.
- Exposure to APIs, libraries, or desktop application development.
- Academic projects involving C++, C#, Python, CAE, FEA, simulation, or engineering software.

- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech graduates from relevant engineering disciplines.
