We are hiring a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to create high-quality 3D jewellery models for manufacturing and product development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Matrix 9, Matrix Gold, and Rhinoceros (Rhino) software and possess a thorough understanding of jewellery construction, stone settings, casting requirements, and production feasibility.

The Jewellery CAD Designer will work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to transform concept sketches and Design requirements into production-ready CAD models.

Role & responsibilities

- Develop accurate and production-ready 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, bracelets, necklaces, and other jewellery products.
- Create CAD models using Matrix 9, MatrixGold, and Rhinoceros (Rhino) software.
- Convert hand sketches, technical drawings, and customer concepts into detailed 3D models.
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing standards, including casting, stone setting, polishing, and assembly requirements. Generate STL files for 3D printing.
- Prepare technical specifications and production sheets for manufacturing teams.
- Optimize designs for weight, functionality, durability,



and cost efficiency.
- Conduct design modifications based on customer feedback and production requirements.
- Maintain CAD libraries, component databases, and design records.
- Collaborate with product development, Design, and production teams to meet project timelines.
- Ensure all CAD files comply with company quality standards and design guidelines. Stay updated with emerging jewellery design trends, technologies, and CAD software enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma, Degree, or Certification in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Jewellery CAD Designing. Proficiency in: Matrix 9, MatrixGold and Rhinoceros (Rhino).
- Robust understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes. Knowledge of stone setting techniques and jewellery construction.
- Experience with STL generation and 3D printing workflows.
- Ability to interpret sketches, renders, and technical specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
