CAD Mechanical Engineer

Department: Design Engineering

Location: Gandhinagar

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop OEM mechanical components using metals, plastics, rubber,coatings, etc.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX Casting, Machining, Sheet Metal & Assembly.
- Apply GD&T;, weld symbols, ISO/ASTM standards, DFM and DFA principles.
- Prepare mechanical BOMs, layouts, drawings, technical reports and presentations.
- Support Procurement, Production, Quality, Sales and suppliers on technical queries.
- Manage ECN, PLM, SAP and engineering documentation.
- Support product improvement, material/process selection and cost reduction.

Minimum Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with related field with 2-3 years of experience.
- Robust Product Development and Design experience in Mechanical domain
- Knowledge of machining, welding, molding, sheet-metal fabrication & casting processes
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process, SAP, PLM
- Knowledge of Fittings, bearings, valves, O-rings, and OEM component selection
- Ability to work effectively with:
