We are hiring for a Fund Manager position with a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
The role will involve managing the investment portfolio, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, driving deal execution, and working closely with investors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the fund's investment portfolio.
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Drive deal sourcing, evaluation and execution.
- Conduct detailed financial, business and investment due diligence.
- Prepare investment analysis and presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Develop investment recommendations and support portfolio-level decision-making.
- Monitor portfolio companies and track investment performance.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on SEBI / regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support investor-related activities and communication as required.
Candidate Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in areas related to the securities market, portfolio management or fund management.
- Minimum 1 year of direct experience with a Category II AIF as a Fund Manager or key member of the investment team.
- Candidates with experience across Private Equity, Private Debt or Real Estate AIFs can be considered.
- Strong understanding of investment analysis, due diligence and portfolio management.
- Exposure to deal sourcing and execution will be preferred.
- Robust analytical and financial assessment skills.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA or MBA Finance will be preferred.
- Candidates should meet the relevant SEBI eligibility requirements for the role.
