Job Title: Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) Executive

Department: Operations Excellence

Location: Santacruz West / Andheri East, Mumbai

Role Purpose The Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) is responsible for transforming operational data into actionable business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The role involves designing, developing, automating, and governing business intelligence solutions, dashboards, analytics frameworks, and performance reporting for Operations.

The incumbent will collaborate with Operations, Finance, Credit, Product, Technology, and Leadership teams to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Intelligence & Analytics

- Develop and execute BI strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting systems.
- Analyze large datasets to identify performance trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
- Generate actionable insights to improve productivity, quality, customer experience, and profitability.
- Support operational planning through predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

1. Operations Performance Management

- Establish and monitor operational KPIs and SLAs.
- Develop performance measurement frameworks across business functions.
- Track and report operational performance against targets.
- Support leadership reviews on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Drive performance governance through analytics reviews and presentations.

1. Reporting & Dashboard Management

- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
- Automate recurring reports and MIS.
- Enable self-service analytics for stakeholders.
- Standardize reporting methodologies and KPI definitions.

1. Data Governance & Quality

- Define data standards, governance practices, and reporting protocols.
- Ensure compliance with data quality and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data reliability and availability.
- Manage access controls and reporting governance.

1. Strategic Business Partnering

- Partner with Operations teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives through analytical insights.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning exercises.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Translate complex analytical findings into business-friendly presentations.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or Data Science.

Experience

- 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, MIS, Reporting, or Operational Excellence.

Preferred Skills
- Advanced MS Excel and Power BI/Tableau.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
