Role Description The Business Development Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Kasaragod. This position involves identifying prospective students and families, supporting lead generation activities, and following up on inquiries through calls, messages, and in-person interactions. The trainee will assist in conducting market research, gathering data on local schools and student demographics, and helping design outreach strategies and campaigns.

Daily responsibilities include communicating program offerings, providing basic customer service, coordinating with academic and marketing teams,



and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions. The role offers training and mentorship to grow into a business development professional within the education sector.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with students, parents, and school stakeholders effectively.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify opportunities, collect relevant data, and support outreach activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret enrollment trends, campaign performance, and local market conditions.
- Candidates should ideally have basic knowledge of sales or marketing principles, with the ability to work towards targets in an ethical and student-centric manner.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, attention to detail in documentation, and the capacity to work on-site in Kasaragod as part of a team-oriented team.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field is preferred; prior experience or internships in education or sales is an added advantage.
