Role Description The Business Development Manager Projects B2B and Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in the B2B and project segment, including engagement with architects, consultants, and corporate clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, managing the sales pipeline, and driving project-based sales for SSK’s electrical products.

The position requires coordinating with internal teams for project proposals, pricing, and timely delivery,



as well as conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

The Business Development

Manager will prepare business plans, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, project opportunities, and sales performance.
- Excellent communication abilities for engaging with architects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in business planning, including forecasting, strategy development, and pipeline management.
- Demonstrated sales skills in B2B or project-based environments, preferably within electrical or construction-related industries.
- Project management capabilities to oversee multiple projects, coordinate timelines, and ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and networks in the architect and builder community.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical products, building materials, or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools for reporting, tracking, and communication.
- Ability to work independently, handle in office client meetings, and travel within the region as required.
