Business Development Manager – IT Staffing – Europe

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager – IT Staffing to drive business growth across the European IT staffing and consulting market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the European IT recruitment ecosystem and proven experience in acquiring new clients, developing strategic accounts, generating staffing opportunities, and converting leads into long-term business relationships.

The role will focus primarily on new client acquisition, IT staffing sales, contract staffing, permanent recruitment, and IT consulting opportunities across European markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Client Acquisition

- Identify and develop recent business opportunities across European markets.
- Prospect and engage with European companies, system integrators, consulting firms, MSPs, recruitment agencies, and end clients.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of potential IT staffing clients.
- Conduct cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients and present the company's IT staffing and consulting capabilities.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into staffing opportunities.
- Develop long-term relationships with HR Managers, Procurement Managers,



Talent Acquisition teams, Hiring Managers, Vendor Managers, and Business Leaders.

2. IT Staffing Sales
- Generate requirements for:
- Contract IT Staffing
- Contract-to-Hire
- Permanent Staffing
- Remote IT Staffing
- Nearshore/Offshore Staffing
- IT Consulting
- Managed Services
- Project-based IT resources
- Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure timely submission of qualified candidates.
- Coordinate with delivery/recruitment teams on candidate availability, skill alignment, rates, and client requirements.
- Negotiate billing rates, contracts, margins, payment terms, and commercial agreements.

3. European Market Development Develop business across European Union Market The candidate should continuously research market trends, technology demand, hiring patterns, and emerging opportunities within the European IT sector.
- Account Management

- Manage and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for additional staffing, consulting, and managed services.
- Conduct regular client follow-ups and business reviews.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop strategic accounts into long-term partnerships.
- Track client requirements, active opportunities, submissions, interviews, placements, and revenue.

5. Tender & RFP/RFQ Business Development
- Identify relevant European IT tenders, RFPs, RFQs, framework agreements, and staffing opportunities.
- Monitor public-sector and private-sector procurement opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare commercial and technical responses.
- Support preparation of company capability statements, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions.
- Develop relationships with procurement organizations and potential consortium/partner organizations.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT staffing, IT recruitment sales, IT consulting sales, or technology business development.
- Proven experience in European IT staffing/business development.
- Strong understanding of European recruitment and staffing markets.
- Experience generating business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, and account-based prospecting.
- Strong knowledge of IT technologies and staffing profiles.
- Experience negotiating client rates and commercial terms.
- Experience managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to account development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills(French or dutch is an Advantage)
- Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace.

Working Hours Since the role focuses on Europe, the candidate should be comfortable working according to European business hours, with flexibility for client meetings across different European time zones.

Base Location: India – Remote

Primary Business Hours: European working hours (CET)

Salary: Competitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hunter-style Business Development professional who can independently build a European IT staffing business from India. They should be confident approaching new clients, creating relationships from scratch, generating IT staffing requirements, negotiating commercial terms, and working closely with recruiters and delivery teams to convert opportunities into revenue.
