Job Overview: We are looking for a high-energy, empathetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) Intern to join our growth team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between Social Angel and our two primary stakeholders: Fundraisers and Donors. This is a target-based job designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess excellent communication skills and are passionate about driving social impact while hitting performance milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraiser Onboarding & Support
- Identify and reach out to individuals, NGOs and communities in need of financial support for their causes.
- Guide potential fundraisers through the platform, helping them set up and optimize their campaigns.
- Provide end-to-end assistance to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
2. Donor Acquisition & Fundraising
- Pitch SocialAngel’s active campaigns to prospective individual and corporate donors.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with donors to secure one-time and recurring donations.
- Implement creative strategies to expand our donor network and meet weekly/monthly funding targets.
3. Campaign Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor the progress of onboarded campaigns and support them in reaching their goals.
- Track daily outreach, conversion metrics and donation pipelines using our tracking tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive personality.
- Ability to demonstrate deep empathy while maintaining a professional, target-driven mindset.
- Comfortable making cold calls, sending outreach emails and pitching via social media.
- Prior experience in sales, business development, fundraising or NGO volunteering is a plus, but not mandatory.
- High internet literacy and familiarity with digital platforms.
