We are looking for a Business Analyst to bring structure to QUA’s business data and help make better, faster decisions. You will work across sales, marketing, inventory, product and finance to consolidate data, build dashboards and uncover insights that directly impact business performance.

Responsibilities-

1. Revenue & commercial analytics: Own weekly and monthly analysis of revenue, orders, AOV, ASP, conversion, units/order, discounting, new vs repeat customers, category/style/SKU performance and contribution. Explain not only what changed, but why.

2. Inventory & merchandising analytics: Build SKU × size × colour views of sell-through, stock cover, ageing, stock-outs, lost-sales risk, size imbalance, incoming stock, reorder requirements and markdown candidates. Support the question: what should we make, how much, and when?

3. Customer & cohort analytics: Own acquisition cohorts, 30/60/90-day repeat rates, retention, LTV, first-product-to-second-product behaviour, customer segmentation, return behaviour and new vs returning revenue.

4. Marketing & funnel analytics: Connect traffic and acquisition spend to landing page/PDP performance, conversion, CAC, MER/ROAS, return-adjusted revenue, repeat behaviour and contribution. Analyse Meta/Google/CRM performance without becoming the media buyer.

5. Management MIS & root-cause analysis: Run the weekly business scorecard and independently investigate variances such as revenue decline, rising CAC, poor conversion, inventory build, return spikes, margin deterioration or cash burn.

6. Forecasting & decision support: Support revenue forecasts, inventory requirements, production priorities, sale/markdown decisions, pricing tests, new category analysis, store economics and other founder-level strategic questions.

Reporting automation & data quality: Automate recurring reports using SQL/Power Query/BI tools; reconcile source systems; document metric definitions; reduce manual spreadsheet work and prevent multiple versions of the truth.

Required Skills-

- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets: XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, pivots, Power Query, scenario modelling, cohort calculations.
- SQL: Joins, CTEs, GROUP BY, CASE, window functions, date logic, deduplication and understanding data grain.
- BI: Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio; ability to build decision-helpful dashboards, not only visual reports.
- Business fundamentals: Revenue → gross margin → contribution → EBITDA → cash; inventory turns, stock cover, sell-through and working capital.
- E-commerce analytics: CAC, AOV, CVR, LTV, MER, ROAS, repeat, returns, RTO, customer cohorts and funnel analysis.
- Communication: Can explain a complex analysis in 5 minutes as Observation → Cause → Impact → Action, including assumptions and confidence level.

Preferred Profile-

- 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, FP&A; or a similar analytical role.
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce, apparel/fashion, retail, consumer internet, marketplaces or omnichannel consumer businesses.
- Hands-on exposure to order, inventory, marketing and customer data; marketplace-only reporting is not sufficient by itself.
- Experience with Shopify / GA4 / Meta / Google Ads / ERP-WMS / finance MIS is useful but not mandatory if analytical fundamentals are strong.
- Education in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, commerce or MBA is acceptable; evidence of analytical horsepower matters more than degree brand.
