Skills: Business Analyst+ L&A; Insurance + Indian Life insurance market

- The candidates should have good experience in Indian Life Insurance Industry
- Should have worked in core business functions and work experience in Finance Regulatory reporting is preferred
- Data experience is mostly preferred
- Should have deep functional understanding of all business functions in Life Insurance and Pensions value chain
- Thorough understanding of functional modules such as new business marketing policy servicing claims servicing health insurance underwriting financial reporting and integration and workflow with peripheral systems

- Expertise in life insurance in India market including familiarity with IRDAdefined mandates and functional requirements
- Understand logical entities and ability to model them into a conceptual data model
- Work closely with consultants on one hand and business departments on the other to capture business requirements and process definitions in a transparent and unambiguous manner and follow up for baselining and signoff

- Work on mapping the business requirements to source systemsentitiesattributes to deliver specific consumption requirements
- Guide other technical tracks like data modelling report development AIML development data services data products development on functional aspects to build the final deliverables




- Primarily guide the data modelling team to ensure that functional requirements are correctly modelled in LDM PDM in a manner that is performant and satisfies the end business requirements covering all functional nuances To that end familiarity with Teradata industry standard FSDM FSAS models would be an advantage

- Lead the larger insurance businessanalyst team to allocate tasks and track progress against deliverables
- Lead the functional design process including the preparation of deliverables such as functional specifications prototypes user guides and test scripts
- Customer interaction Ability to manage customer interactions Plan meetings Follow up with stakeholders lead discussions

- Problem Solving Perform problem analysis to identify and resolve system errors ensuring timely corrective actions
- Collaboration Work closely with stakeholders developers and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Testing and Validation Ensure that developed software or programs are tested properly and meet quality assurance standards

- Documentation Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional designs processes and procedures Follow up for baselining and signoff
- A good working knowledge of SQL queries is important for data discovery and profiling Familiarity with Teradata SQL would be an added advantage
- Proactively identify insights by mining the data and present these to the client on a periodic basis Bring in the deep understanding of insurance business to bear on these insights and suggest actionable from time to time
