About the role:

Business Analyst role is part of the Conferences Business Analytics team at ***.

This role will provide an opportunity to support Conferences Marketing, Product, Sales and other Business teams in analytical and data driven decision making in our fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

- Support the Marketing, Product and Sales teams within *** Conferences Business
- Leverage a variety of data sources to create strategic insights via analyses, help define KPIs and targets in partnership with key stakeholders, and support building of a reporting/ recommendation engine to monitor performance against those KPIs
- Work alongside the Analytics team to understand business objectives and create best-in-class solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business.
- Execute analytics project (descriptive and predictive) to help answer critical commercial questions
- Develop complete, contextual analyses in support of projects and initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, as needed - primarily several marketing, sales teams and internal conferences analytics teams.
- Liason with our IT partners to share requirements and complete UAT of the outcomes towards scaling and developing Data Products
- Gather,



analyze and document reporting requirements that can be handed over to our PowerBI teams
- Collaborate with distributed Analytics, Business, Operations, and Sales to ensure the quality of data.
- Produce & present regular analysis and insights to key internal stakeholders/ leadership teams using various tools like Powerpoint presentation, Excel-based analyses, PowerBI dashboards etc.

Skills:
- Data-driven, problem-solving, and analytical mindset ncluding a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into analytical requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manipulate large data models.
- Strong ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise reporting that drives action.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills tailored to meet the needs of the different end users, team members, sr. management and executive leadership in cross-cultural business environment
- Must be well organized, methodical and pay close attention to detail
- Possess excellent written/oral communication skills
- Able to work well in a highly collaborative cross discipline team, globally dispersed team
- Adaptable approach, willing to wear multiple hats if needed
- Proven ability to collaborate in a global / matrix environment
- Robust work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines and objectives
- Solution minded, detail-oriented and is firm yet flexible
- Ability to breakdown complex business problems and workflows into meaningful components that are understandable by various levels

Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.



MBA preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience working with T-SQL or other SQL languages to query and build views/data models
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Experience in Python and Google Analytics – good to have
