Position Overview The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operations, business performance, customer experience, people management, and profitability of the assigned Nandhana Palace branch. The role requires robust leadership, operational discipline, customer focus, and the ability to drive business results while maintaining Nandhana Palace standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Branch Operations

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Ensure adherence to Nandhana Palace's operational standards, SOPs, and service procedures.
- Monitor restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure effective coordination between FOH, BOH, Service, Kitchen, Stewarding, Stores, Security, and Support Teams.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment based on business volume and operational requirements.
- Monitor operational checklists and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
- Coordinate with HO/Cluster teams for operational requirements and support.

2. Business & Revenue Management
- Drive branch revenue and achieve monthly and annual business targets.
- Monitor daily sales, average order value, covers, delivery business, and other relevant business parameters.
- Analyse branch performance against budget and identify areas for improvement.
- Control operational expenses and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Monitor food cost, manpower cost, wastage, and other controllable expenses.
- Prepare and share branch performance updates with the reporting manager.

3. Customer Experience
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Personally monitor customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery.




- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor online reviews and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
- Ensure the restaurant consistently maintains Nandhana Palace's service and hospitality standards.

4. People Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the branch team.
- Ensure optimum manpower availability and support recruitment requirements.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and employee performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and communicate business priorities.
- Identify training and development requirements and coordinate with HR/L&D.;
- Support employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive work environment.
- Address employee grievances in coordination with HR.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and disciplinary procedures.

5. Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular checks of kitchen, dining areas, storage areas, and employee facilities.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams during audits and inspections.

6. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure appropriate inventory management.
- Ensure proper control of food, beverage, consumables, and other operational materials.
- Minimise wastage, pilferage, breakage, and stock variance.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, issuing, and utilization of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and Accounts for stock and cost-related matters.

7. Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure the branch premises, equipment, furniture, and facilities are properly maintained.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues through the appropriate system/process.
- Ensure compliance with fire, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
