Role Description The Branch Collection Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing collections activities for the Biaora branch. This full-time, in office role includes monitoring overdue accounts, planning and executing collection strategies, and ensuring timely repayment of loans while maintaining fair and respectful customer interactions. The role involves coordinating with field collection teams, reviewing daily collection reports, and tracking performance against targets.

The Branch Collection

Manager will work closely with branch staff to resolve customer issues, verify repayment challenges, and recommend appropriate actions such as restructuring or follow-up visits.



The position also includes ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to branch-level risk management and portfolio quality.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in collections management, portfolio monitoring, and follow-up of overdue accounts.
- Experience in branch operations, coordination with field teams, and day-to-day supervision of collection activities.
- Ability to analyze collection data, prepare reports, and use basic MS Excel or similar tools for tracking performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with customers and resolving payment-related issues.
- Knowledge of housing finance or microfinance in rural and semi-urban markets is highly desirable.
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory guidelines, and fair collection practices.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a field-oriented environment, with readiness for local travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related discipline preferred; relevant experience in collections can be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric approach, and commitment to supporting financial inclusion and women’s empowerment.
