Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home.

The Blockchain

Developer will design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications that support Future of Nation’s educational and community initiatives. Typical responsibilities include implementing secure smart contracts, integrating blockchain solutions with back-end services, and building features related to digital assets and on-chain data. The role involves collaborating with product, curriculum, and engineering teams to translate learning and engagement requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Developer will also review code, optimize performance, ensure security best practices, document systems clearly, and stay current with emerging blockchain technologies relevant to education and social impact.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency technologies, with experience building and deploying blockchain-based applications.
- Applied knowledge of Cryptography, including secure key management and common cryptographic protocols used in decentralized systems.
- Solid background in Software Development, with experience in at least one contemporary programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, or Java).
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, databases, and integration of blockchain components with server-side logic.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of distributed systems, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, or similar).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, work with version control (Git), and follow secure development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, mission-driven team.
- Interest in education, youth empowerment, or social-impact technology is highly beneficial.
