What this job involves

The Engineering executive will be responsible for successful delivery of a comprehensive range of Engineering services and support to the account/client. He/she is also responsible to manage the day-to-day site engineering operations and manage shifts with particular focus on having the engineering systems up and running at optimal performance.

Major Responsibilities

- Manage the day to day operations of the BMS system.
- Coordinate with the various work stream owners, Duty managers and Duty engineers for the functioning of BMS controls and equipment monitoring.
- Work along with BMS operations lead and guide the BMS operator team to manage daily operations
- Respond to customer generated work requests; prioritize, schedule, and assign work to staff, manage work order data in a computerized work management tracking system.
- Performs system checks, monitors and responds appropriately to alarms, and interprets trending data
- Assists with monitoring special controlled temperature and humidity vaults. Assists in documenting changes or modifications to the BMS systems, including programming or set point changes
- Assists coordinating technical, maintenance, and operations personnel to troubleshoot operating problems and assist in the implementation of new equipment, instrumentation, and controls
- Assists in performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including replacement and modifications of control or instrumentation equipment as directed




- Develops and implements control schemes and control techniques. Performance objectives Should be responsible to supervise and control the operation of the building management system and monitor all plant activities of the headquarters building services, whereby your role will include key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations as related to building operations.
- Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis.
- Respond to all emergency situations quickly (fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.) and customer concerns including elevator outages and fire alarm concerns
- Use tools, meters, and testing equipment to troubleshoot and solve complex problems in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate medium voltage repairs with appropriate utility provider
- Identify energy conservation projects and assist in the planning and implementation.
- Develop and maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals
- Develop specifications and manage maintenance and repair service contracts on specialized equipment (ie, chiller, boilers, EMS system, etc.).
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and prioritise work for faster execution
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

- Btech in Electrical / Instrumentation engineering7+ years experience in maintenance management role
