Role Description

This role is based in Bengaluru. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed architectural BIM models throughout the project lifecycle under the supervision of a BIM Manager. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating 3D models, preparing construction drawings, and integrating architectural, structural, and MEP information to ensure accurate, clash-free documentation.

The role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to support design development, value engineering, and construction planning.



The BIM Modeler will also assist in implementing BIM standards, maintaining model integrity, and generating model-based deliverables such as schedules, quantities, and drawings for various project stages.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience in creating and managing coordinated digital models.
- Solid understanding of Architecture and architectural detailing, with the ability to translate design intent into accurate BIM models.
- Hands-on experience as a BIM Modeler, including model setup, organization, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration into architectural and structural models.
- Ability to produce clear and precise Construction Drawings derived from BIM models, aligned with project standards and client requirements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or equivalent BIM tools), and comfort with model-based coordination and clash detection.
- Relevant educational background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with formal training in BIM preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-based setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with an openness to feedback and continuous professional development.
