Qualification: Bachelor of Technology / Engineering in Civil Engineering
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated BIM Engineer L1/ with expertise in Revit. If you’re not yet proficient in Revit, we offer in-office training to get you up to speed.
The ideal candidate will have a robust architectural modeling, drawing, and documentation background, especially with experience in the outsourcing architectural industry (Australia/NZ/USA). The role includes working on residential projects, creating approval and construction document sets, and coordinating drawings across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Understanding: Review project briefs to understand requirements.
- Document Set Creation: Produce approval and construction document sets from design drawings, sketches, and guidelines.
- Independent and Team Work: Work independently or within a team on various projects using Revit
- Project Reporting: Update timesheets/PMS regularly and report daily progress to the Project Manager.
- Client Communication: Prepare and send queries, manage project deliveries, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Drawing Coordination: Coordinate and compare drawings across multiple disciplines to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Quality Checks: Perform self-quality checks on all completed tasks to ensure high standards.
Technical Requirements:
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD, and Revit, and familiar with BIM standards for 3D modeling, layouts, labeling, dimensioning, sheet layouts, and design details.
- Civil 3D & Revit Expertise: Proficient in both Civil 3D and Revit.
- Drawing and Model Interpretation: Ability to interpret 2D and 3D BIM drawings to solve engineering challenges.
- LOD Knowledge: Familiar with Levels of Development (LOD) 100 to 450.
