Key Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience working in a software product development organization building contemporary and scalable big data applications

- Expertise with functional programming in Scala

- Experience in developing REST-based microservices, preferably with Play as an MVC framework

- In-depth knowledge of developing applications using Elastic search, Kafka messaging

- Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, with familiarity with the Cassandra database

- Experience in building low-latency high high-transactional services
