We are looking for an experienced Big Data Developer to join our internal team at SII Group India. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing the data foundation that powers our AI initiatives. The engineer will work on data ingestion, data stitching, schema design, data transformation, and data lake preparation, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and AI-ready datasets.

You will play a critical role in enabling AI Engineers and Data Scientists to effectively leverage enterprise data for advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions.

This is a hybrid work model, with candidates expected to work from our offices in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Your tasks

- Designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake
- Building AI-ready data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows
- Optimizing Snowflake data models, queries, and platform performance
- Orchestrating data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Matillion, or Fivetran
- Ensuring data quality, validation, and reliability across datasets
- Managing Snowflake security, access controls, and cost governance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
- Mentoring engineers and driving data engineering best practices
- Automating deployments through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Troubleshooting production issues and improving platform stability
- Evaluating recent Snowflake capabilities to enhance data and AI initiatives

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data ingestion, data integration, schema design, data transformation, and data lake development




- Previous work in designing and managing scalable cloud data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
- Expertise in building and optimizing ETL/ELT data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, including schema design, tables, and views
- Experience optimizing query performance and improving overall platform efficiency
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration and workflow automation using dbt and Airflow
- Ability to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data quality and validation processes
- Previous work in managing Snowflake security, access controls, and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform
- Experience leveraging Snowpark, Streams, and Tasks for advanced data processing and automation
- Fluent English communication skills - minimum B2 level
