nKickstart FC & Academy is looking for a passionate Behavioral Trainer & Performance Coach to become an integral part of our journey of building high-performance athletes, leaders and people.

nThis is not a conventional HR or training role. It is an chance to work at the intersection of Sports, Psychology, Behavioral Transformation, Leadership and Organizational Performance.

nThe Role

nThe successful candidate will work across the Football Club, Residential Academy and the wider organization, with responsibility for:

n• Behavioral transformation of young footballers and staff

n• Mental performance and performance counselling for players

n• Becoming a trusted mentor and confidant for youth and academy players

n• Leadership development for players, coaches and organizational teams

n• Communication, emotional intelligence, resilience and self-discipline programs

n• Designing and delivering innovative workshops for school/college students

n• Developing leadership pathways for different age groups

n• Supporting coaches and staff in building high-performance teams

n• Driving organization-wide KRA, KPI and performance management systems

n• Identifying performance gaps and creating development interventions

n• Designing and implementing the organization's Learning & Development calendar

n• Using technology and AI-enabled tools for training, assessment and performance tracking

nWho are we looking?





nExperience in SPORTS is extremely important.

nYou could be a former player, coach, sports professional or someone with meaningful experience working within a sporting environment who has subsequently built expertise in behavioral training and psychology.

nWe particularly value someone who understands:

nQualification and Experience

nEssential:

n• Degree in Psychology / Organizational Psychology / Clinical Psychology or related discipline

n• 3–5+ years of experience in behavioral training, leadership development, organizational development, or performance coaching

n• Demonstrated experience conducting behavioral/leadership programs for school and college students

nPreferred:

n• PG qualification in Training & Development / Behavioral Science / HR / Organizational Psychology

n• Certification in coaching, behavioral training or leadership development

n• Experience in football or another team sport – as a player or coach

nYou should be innovative in workshop pedagogy, experiential learning, classroom interventions, role plays, simulations, team-building activities and technology-enabled learning.

nYou must be comfortable working with young athletes, professional coaches, senior management, and support teams, and willing to work around the dynamic timings of a professional football environment.
