G M Fabrics is hiring "Bedding Merchaniser" in Head office.

Job Location: Marol, Andheri East

Job Role

1) Order & Production Coordination

- Coordinate with the sales, planning, production, and plant teams for execution of confirmed orders.
- Prepare and circulate order details, product specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and production requirements.
- Follow up with the plant on production planning and ensure orders are executed within committed timelines.
- Monitor production status and highlight delays, bottlenecks, or capacity issues to the concerned teams.
- Maintain regular follow-up until completion of production and dispatch.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as the key coordination point between Sales, Purchase, Production, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Plant teams.
- Ensure timely flow of information and requirements between departments.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues through effective coordination and follow-up.
- Ensure all teams are aligned on priority orders and delivery commitments.

3. Fabric & Raw Material Coordination

- Coordinate with the purchase and stores teams regarding fabric, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and other raw material requirements.
- Follow up on material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Track shortages and communicate requirements to the relevant teams well in advance.
- Coordinate with the plant for fabric consumption, wastage, and production requirements.

4. Quality & Product Compliance

- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure products meet approved quality standards.
- Follow up on quality issues identified during sampling or production.
- Ensure corrections are communicated to the plant and implemented appropriately.
- Maintain approved specifications and quality benchmarks for each product.
- Order Tracking & MIS




- Maintain order-wise production and dispatch trackers.
- Prepare regular MIS reports covering order status, production progress, pending approvals, shortages, delays, and dispatch status.
- Provide timely updates to management and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation for product specifications, approvals, and order execution.

5. Dispatch & Delivery Coordination

- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams for timely packing and shipment.
- Ensure quantities, product specifications, packaging, and labelling are as per order requirements.
- Follow up on pending dispatches and communicate delivery status to the concerned

6. Order Tracking & MIS

- Maintain order-wise production and dispatch trackers.
- Prepare regular MIS reports covering order status, production progress, pending approvals, shortages, delays, and dispatch status.
- Provide timely updates to management and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation for product specifications, approvals, and order execution.

Education, Experience and Skills :

- Graduate, Textile background preferred
- Min 5+ yrs of Merchandising experience handling top of the bed products
- Strong merchandising and production coordination skills.
- Valuable understanding of home furnishing products such as bedsheets, comforters, cushions, curtains, towels, throws, etc.
- Knowledge of fabrics, construction, prints, embroidery, trims, and product specifications.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS, and order tracking systems. Should have worked on SAP – SD & MM module.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple orders.
