Role Description The Barista role at 6oz.coffee is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. This role involves preparing and serving espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other café beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for simple café items, maintaining cleanliness of the workspace and customer areas, and following safety and hygiene guidelines.

The Barista will greet guests, take orders, process payments,



and provide attentive customer service to ensure a pleasant experience. The role also includes collaborating with team members, restocking supplies, and supporting smooth café operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

- Solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests and build positive relationships.
- Barista experience or knowledge of espresso preparation and basic coffee brewing methods.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with team members.
- Food Preparation skills with attention to hygiene, safety, and consistent product quality.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, including weekends or peak hours as needed.
- Reliability, time management, and willingness to learn new techniques and menu items.
- Basic math skills for handling cash, POS systems, and order accuracy.
- Prior experience in a café or hospitality environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
