Role Overview:

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 4-9 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise and AI-driven applications. The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and production-ready backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices following contemporary backend architecture and development practices.
- Build secure and efficient API integrations with internal and external systems.
- Design backend components to support reliable data flow between frontend applications, services, and data platforms.
- Work with SQL databases and develop efficient queries, data access layers, and persistence solutions.
- Participate in service design, technical discussions, code reviews, and application architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, integration, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Develop unit and integration tests and ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and production releases.
- Work with AWS or similar cloud platforms to deploy and support backend applications.




- Collaborate with frontend, UX, Product, Data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end product capabilities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to reusable backend components and engineering standards.

Required Skills:

- 4-9 years of experience in backend/software development, with strong hands-on experience in Java.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, service-to-service communication, and integration patterns.
- Good hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (arrays, strings, hash maps/sets, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, sorting/searching, Big-O complexity).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for effective collaboration with frontend teams.
