Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer with knowledge of Java and MySQL to join our development team in Hubli. The candidate will work on backend application logic, APIs, database operations, integrations, and maintenance of reliable server-side components. This role is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to 3 months of relevant experience who have strong programming fundamentals and are eager to work on real-world software projects.

Key Skills

- Good knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Understanding of Java collections, exception handling, multithreading basics, and common programming concepts.
- Knowledge of MySQL, SQL queries, joins, indexes, constraints, and relational database concepts.
- Basic understanding of Spring / Spring Boot is preferred.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and backend integration concepts.
- Familiarity with JDBC, JPA, or Hibernate is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version-control practices.
- Good debugging, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain backend modules using Java.
- Design and work with MySQL databases, tables, queries, and application data.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Implement validations, business logic,



and database operations based on application requirements.
- Identify and resolve backend bugs, query issues, and performance problems.
- Support integration between frontend applications and backend services.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical discussions.
- Use Git and follow the team's version-control and development practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, senior developers, and other team members.

Experience & Qualifications

- BCA, MCA or BE in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–3 months of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with Java/MySQL academic projects, internships, or technical portfolios will be preferred.
- Strong programming fundamentals and willingness to learn backend technologies are important.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Basic understanding of Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms, Docker, or CI/CD concepts.
- A GitHub profile showcasing Java or backend development projects.
