Eficens is an AWS Advanced Tier Consulting Partner. We help growing businesses design, build and scale on AWS, with a strong focus on generative AI and agent-based solutions.

The role

You'll be the technical lead for our customers. You'll own each engagement from the first technical conversation to an approved architecture: understanding the problem, designing the AWS solution, making the cost and security case, and handing a solid design to our delivery team.

What you'll do

- Run technical discovery with CTOs and engineering teams, and turn business goals into AWS architectures
- Design GenAI and agentic AI solutions on AWS: Amazon Bedrock (Agents, AgentCore, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails), RAG pipelines, SageMaker, and serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway)
- Build cost estimates and optimization plans, including costs specific to LLMs such as token usage, model choice, and throughput
- Design secure architectures from the start: IAM, KMS, VPC design, multi-account landing zones, and data protection and guardrails for AI workloads
- Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework and run architecture reviews
- Prepare technical documentation for AWS partner programs, including MAP and GenAI program submissions
- Work with AWS account managers,



partner managers and solutions architects on joint customer engagements
- Write reference architectures, solution briefs and technical case studies
- Stay current on AWS AI services and share what you learn with the team

What we're looking for

- 3–5 years of hands-on AWS experience, including at least 2 years designing solutions (not only operations or support)
- Has built at least one GenAI solution on AWS (Bedrock or SageMaker) and can explain the trade-offs: RAG vs. fine-tuning, model selection, cost vs. performance
- Solid understanding of AWS security and cost optimization best practices
- Able to explain technical designs clearly to both technical and business audiences
- Strong communication skills; comfortable leading calls with customers
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Qualified preferred)
- Willing to work in US-overlap hours (IST evenings)

Good to have

- Experience at an AWS consulting partner, with exposure to ACE, MAP or Well-Architected reviews
- Experience working with SMB customers
- AWS Certified Generative AI, Machine Learning or Security Specialty
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation)
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or SOC 2
