We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join our Cloud Practice and serve as a 100 percent client-facing technical architect supporting customers across North America.

The role focuses on customer engagement, solution architecture, technical leadership, consulting, and helping customers adopt and optimize AWS services.

Role

- Act as the primary AWS technical advisor and architectural point of contact for assigned customers.
- Maintain relationships with customer IT leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand business objectives, application requirements, infrastructure challenges, and cloud strategy.
- Translate business and technical requirements into practical AWS cloud solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, workshops, and solution presentations.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective AWS architectures.
- Develop HLD and LLD documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles across customer environments.
- Design solutions covering AWS networking,



compute, containers, storage, databases, security and IAM, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, high availability, business continuity, migration, and modernization.
- Review existing customer architectures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Lead architecture activities for AWS migrations, modernization, infrastructure transformation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Support discovery, assessments, POCs, solution design, and implementation planning.
- Provide architectural oversight throughout project execution and review implementation plans.
- Identify AWS cost optimization opportunities through rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and workload optimization.
- Provide AWS security architecture guidance covering IAM, network security, encryption, logging, monitoring, and security controls.
- Identify architectural risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Provide architectural leadership during complex or high-priority customer incidents when required.
- Partner with CloudOps engineers on complex issues and recurring problems and recommend long-term solutions.
- Provide technical direction and knowledge transfer to CloudOps and DevOps engineers.
- Develop reusable AWS architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.




- Ensure effective handoff from architecture and design into ongoing managed services.
- Maintain significant overlap with North American business hours for customer meetings, workshops, architecture reviews, project discussions, and technical escalations.

Education Qualification

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related technology roles, including 5+ years designing and implementing AWS solutions. Strong enterprise customer-facing experience, AWS architecture knowledge, cloud migration and modernization, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, automation, communication, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
