An Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) in a hospital or healthcare setting works under the supervision of senior nurses and doctors to provide basic patient care, community health support, and maternal-child health services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Patient Care: Assist doctors and senior staff nurses during routine patient check-ups, monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and help patients with daily hygiene and comfort.

- Maternal and Child Health: Support care for pregnant women, assist in antenatal and postnatal care, and educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and nutrition.

- Immunization and Outreach: Administer scheduled vaccinations for infants, children, and pregnant women as part of public health programs.

- Clinical Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and organize medical instruments, and manage basic medical supplies.





- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily records of patient vitals, medications administered, and treatment progress.

- Health Education: Counsel patients and families on basic hygiene, sanitation, family planning, and disease prevention.

Eligibility and Qualifications

- Education: Pass in 10+2 from a recognized board, preferably with science subjects.

- Training: Completion of a recognized 2-year full time ANM Diploma course.

- Registration: Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
