About the Role

We are looking for a Resident Engineer who will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordination at the client/project site. The candidate will act as the primary technical point of contact and ensure smooth operation of all deployed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for AV, IT, networking, and integrated systems.
- Monitor and maintain installed equipment and systems to ensure maximum uptime.
- Handle installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system integration issues.
- Coordinate with the project team, client representatives, vendors, and internal technical teams.
- Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain proper records of service calls, maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate engineering or project team.
- Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, safety standards,



and company procedures.
- Support system upgrades, modifications, and new installations when required.
- Conduct basic user training and provide technical guidance to client users.
- Prepare daily/weekly technical reports and communicate project/site status to management.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, and technical documentation at the site.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of Audio-Visual (AV) systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of displays, projectors, video conferencing systems, audio systems, control systems, and signal distribution.
- Basic understanding of HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB, LAN, and other AV connectivity standards.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, switches, routers, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with system integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in AV, networking, or system integration will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in AV engineering, system integration, technical support, or site engineering.
- Experience working at client sites/project sites is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in corporate AV, video conferencing, smart meeting rooms, command centers, or integrated AV systems will be preferred.
