Carpresso, Kalamassery is looking for a skilled and responsible Automobile Technician with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspection, servicing, repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in automobiles.
- Troubleshoot vehicle problems and identify the root cause of faults.
- Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance as required.
- Perform jobs related to engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify technical issues.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop facilities are maintained properly.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.
- Coordinate with service advisors and team members to complete assigned jobs on time.
- Maintain basic records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience as an Automobile Technician / Automotive Technician.
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Good knowledge of automobile servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical and basic automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Good practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
