Role Description The Automation Engineer (Panel Wiring / Electric Works) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves designing, assembling, and wiring electrical control panels for automation systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.

The Automation

Engineer will interpret electrical drawings, install and test components, and integrate automation and robotics solutions into existing or new processes. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and control issues, performing preventive maintenance, and optimizing process control for reliability and efficiency. The role also requires collaboration with project teams, documenting work, and supporting commissioning and handover to operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Robotics for the design, integration, and maintenance of automated systems.




- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Process Control skills to read schematics, configure control devices, and ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical and control system faults in a timely manner.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in panel wiring, PLCs, drives, sensors, and industrial control hardware.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to work in office in Kurla, manage tasks independently, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication skills and the ability to document technical work clearly; prior experience in automation projects is an advantage.
