We are looking for an experienced Audio Video (AV) Patching Engineer with strong expertise in AV technologies, Microsoft Teams Rooms, endpoint management, firmware/software patching, and device lifecycle management.

The AV Patching Engineer will be responsible for managing the software, firmware, patching, security compliance, and lifecycle of Audio Visual (AV) and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) technologies across the managed environment.

The role requires solid experience in AV endpoint administration, firmware/software deployment, Windows operating systems, endpoint management, change management, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and implement firmware and software updates across supported AV technologies.
- Manage patch compliance for Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV endpoints, control systems, DSPs, displays, cameras, microphones, and room peripherals.
- Validate device functionality before and after software/firmware updates.
- Monitor vendor advisories and identify required security and firmware updates.
- Maintain accurate records of device versions, patch levels, compliance status, and lifecycle information.
- Coordinate maintenance windows with operational and customer teams.




- Ensure all patching activities follow approved change and release management processes.
- Support rollback and recovery activities during failed or problematic updates.
- Minimize service disruption during maintenance and patching activities.
- Prepare regular patch compliance and device lifecycle reports.
- Identify unsupported, vulnerable, and end-of-life AV technologies.
- Support audit, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues related to firmware, operating systems, software releases, and configuration changes.
- Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Coordinate with AV, infrastructure, security, vendors, and customer teams for issue resolution.
