The Category I investment banking arm of a listed financial services group, part of a global cross-border M&A; advisory network, is hiring an AVP for M&A;, strategic advisory and PE / private credit fund raising.

Key responsibilities

- Run financial analysis, due diligence, modelling, pitch books and documentation on live transactions

- Lead the deal cycle - origination, pitching, execution and negotiation - and coordinate the deal team

- Manage data rooms and coordinate legal, tax and regulatory advisors and counterparties

- Generate leads and mandates through existing relationships, outreach and external events

- Work with the global network on cross-border M&A; opportunities

- Mentor and develop junior professionals

Must have: part of at least 2-3 deal closures in the past 2 years in Healthcare and Consumer, with an established client network in these sectors and robust financial modelling. Candidates from top-tier broking houses preferred.
