About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Vice President – Medical Coding Operations to lead large-scale, multi-specialty medical coding operations and drive service delivery, client relationships, business growth, quality and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Outpatient and Inpatient Medical Coding, along with proven leadership experience in managing large operations and multiple client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Medical Coding Operations and Service Delivery across multiple accounts and workstreams.
- Manage P&L;, revenue planning, budgeting, cost controls and operational performance.
- Head offshore service delivery for multi-specialty medical coding.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships and internal stakeholder partnerships.
- Drive business plans focused on growth, profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead migration, transition and new process setup/start-up projects.
- Identify opportunities for farming and revenue growth within existing client engagements.
- Establish and strengthen process excellence and quality frameworks to improve coding accuracy and overall delivery quality.
- Work closely with Operations and Training teams to create effective quality-to-training feedback loops.
- Drive process re-engineering,



workflow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic direction, mentoring and guidance to senior leaders and operations teams.
- Manage attrition, talent development and job enrichment across the operations.
- Lead change management initiatives related to process, people and technology.
- Facilitate initiatives to enhance customer experience and engagement.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and showcasing organizational capabilities to prospective clients.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in Medical Coding Operations.
- Currently working as a Director or above, or in an equivalent leadership role managing medical coding operations.
- Must have hands-on leadership experience managing both Outpatient and Inpatient Medical Coding teams.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale operations and multiple client accounts.
- Strong exposure to P&L;, client management, service delivery and business growth.
- Graduate in any discipline; Life Science graduates preferred.
