Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid Schedule; 3 days in office)

Working Hours: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Our Risk & Reporting (R&R;) team is building performance analytics, investor reporting, and reporting automation across closed-end, open-end, and evergreen strategies. In this role, you will lead the build, automation, refresh support, and controls for Emerging Markets Debt dashboards, datasets, and recurring reporting deliverables.

Data Engineering & Architecture

- Design and maintain data pipelines and dimensional models using SQL, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric/Azure, and relevant AWS services.
- Automate data ingestion from internal systems, data warehouses, vendor files, Salesforce, and other reporting sources.
- Build ELT/ETL workflows for portfolio, performance, exposure, attribution, cash activity, and reporting-control data.
- Develop reusable SQL and Python tools for data engineering, integration, validation, and testing.

Business Intelligence, Automation & Controls

- Create Power BI dashboards, semantic models, paginated reports, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and deployment assets.
- Troubleshoot dataset refreshes, gateway issues, transformation errors, and publishing issues.
- Apply Git, CI/CD, documentation, logging, and data-quality controls to make recurring reports reliable and auditable.
- Use infrastructure-as-code and orchestration tools where appropriate.

Emerging Markets Reporting

- Support Emerging Markets Debt performance, exposure, portfolio, benchmark, and investor-reporting workflows.
- Maintain EM dashboards and resolve Power BI and OneLake refresh or data issues.
- Build checks for issuer, security, region, country, currency, valuation, cash-flow, benchmark, and performance data.
- Partner with investment, R&R;, Data Management, Technology, and Finance teams to resolve data gaps and improve reporting reliability.

Partnership & Delivery

- Translate business needs into technical specifications, delivery plans, data dictionaries,



acceptance criteria, and support playbooks.
- Review work, mentor junior team members, and coordinate handoffs between US stakeholders and the Hyderabad team.
- Use approved GenAI tools responsibly for analysis, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.

Experience Required

- 5+ years in data engineering, BI development, reporting automation, or analytics engineering; financial services experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, DAX, Power Query/M, semantic models, paginated reports, and production data validation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric/Azure and/or AWS cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with investment performance measures such as TWR, MWR, IRR, MOIC, TVPI, DPI, and RVPI, as well as exposure, attribution, benchmarks, and investor reporting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to turn reporting and data-control requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Experience

- Schema design, change data capture, orchestration, secure data access, Git, CI/CD, testing, and release controls.
- Investment reporting systems and tools such as Geneva, IPS, Salesforce, Workday, AXON, eFront-style platforms, Jira, and Confluence.
- Exposure to private credit, opportunistic credit, Emerging Markets Debt, portfolio construction, investment performance, or client reporting.
- AWS Data Analytics, Power BI Data Analyst, Azure/Fabric, CFA, FRM, CAIA, or CIPM credentials.

Education

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field; equivalent deep experience building data and BI solutions in investment management may also qualify.
