nQualification & Experience:

nM.P.T. / M.P.Th. / M.Sc. (Physiotherapy) in one of the relevant specializations:

- Musculoskeletal / Sports

- Cardiopulmonary

- Neurology
n
- Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience as an Assistant Professor .
n
- Ph.D. in any discipline of Physiotherapy , recognized by UGC.
n
- 5 Research publications as per institutional requirements.

n2. Assistant Professor – Physiotherapy

nQualification & Experience:

nM.P.T. / M.P.Th. / M.Sc. (Physiotherapy) in:

- Neurology

- Minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed , from a recognized university.

- 2 Research publications as per institutional requirements.

nKey Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, demonstrations and clinical teaching in the relevant area of Physiotherapy specialization.
n




- Plan and implement effective teaching-learning methodologies and prepare course materials.
n
- Provide academic, clinical and qualified guidance and mentorship to students.
n
- Supervise students during clinical postings, practical training and patient-care activities.
n
- Conduct and assist in student assessments, practical examinations and academic evaluations.
n
- Participate in curriculum development, course planning and periodic updating of teaching content.
n
- Engage in research activities, scholarly publications, conferences, seminars and workshops.
n
- Guide and support students in research projects, dissertations and academic activities, as applicable.
n
- Maintain academic records, course documentation, student performance records and other departmental documentation.
n
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, institutional committees and academic initiatives.
n
- Contribute to quality improvement, accreditation-related activities and the overall development of the department.
n
- Promote evidence-based physiotherapy education, clinical practice and professional development.
n
- Develop academic and professional collaborations and contribute to the growth and visibility of the department.
