We are looking for an experienced Associate Partner - Criminal Litigation & PMLA to lead complex criminal litigation matters and provide strategic legal counsel across criminal law, PMLA, investigations, and related proceedings .

The role requires strong courtroom experience, sound legal judgement, and the ability to develop and execute effective litigation strategies. The ideal candidate will also have strong client-management and business-development capabilities, with the ability to build trusted relationships with long-term clients and key stakeholders.

Requirements Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage complex criminal litigation and PMLA matters from case assessment through resolution
- Develop comprehensive legal strategies based on case facts, applicable laws, evidence, and client objectives
- Represent clients in relevant courts, tribunals, and proceedings before investigative or regulatory authorities
- Prepare and review legal pleadings, applications, petitions, written submissions, legal opinions, and other case documentation
- Conduct detailed legal research and analyse complex factual and legal issues
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, legal risks, investigations, and potential outcomes
- Manage relationships with full time and long-term clients, acting as a trusted legal advisor
- Coordinate with clients, counsel, advocates, experts, investigators, and other professional stakeholders
- Monitor case developments, hearings, deadlines, evidence, and procedural requirements
- Develop practical and commercially appropriate solutions for complex legal matters
- Lead negotiations,



settlement discussions, and other dispute-resolution initiatives where appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise strong professional judgement when handling sensitive matters
- Identify opportunities for client development, current mandates, and practice growth
- Participate in business-development initiatives, client meetings, pitches, and relationship-building activities
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the litigation team
- Stay updated on developments in criminal law, PMLA, financial investigations, and related regulatory frameworks

What Makes You a Great Fit
- 9+ years of relevant legal experience with strong exposure to criminal litigation
- Proven experience handling PMLA matters and related investigations or proceedings
- Strong courtroom and litigation experience across complex and high-stakes matters
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective legal and litigation strategies
- Strong understanding of criminal law, procedural requirements, evidence, and regulatory investigations
