The Opportunity UST is looking for Team Leader; you will play a critical role in delivering a robust control environment and supporting Investment Teams to ensure effective pre- and post-trade mandate restriction monitoring all within challenging deadlines.

You will provide subject matter expertise, particularly in the oversight and delivery of complex queries and tasks, and handling ad-hoc requests.

We are looking for someone who likes working as part of a team, is comfortable with a fast-paced operations environment and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Roles & Responsibilities The Derivative team is responsible for setting up the trading capabilities spanning, but not limited to; FX, OTC Bilateral & Cleared, ETD, CFD’s, Term Deposits and TBA’s. This involves liaising with external parties such as brokers, clearers and market platforms to open trading accounts. The team is also responsible for updating key business data for trading, collateral, legal and operations teams within our internal systems. Key Responsibilities

- Open derivative trading accounts internally and with external market vendors
- Deliver the end-to-end process and ensure deadlines are always met
- Clearly document all required information throughout any onboard
- Keep all key parties informed of onboarding status progression, from initiation to completion
- Ensure all data is accurately maintained in internal databases and external platforms
- Maintain up to date due diligence docs in Markit KYC, permission appropriate / approved brokers
- Collecting, verifying, storing, and maintaining accurate operational data.
- Assist with any process improvement,



ensure operating guidelines are met and controls are accurately completed
- Respond to counterparty and broker queries, clearly and quickly
- Escalate issues immediately to the Team Leader Skills and Behaviours Required

Required Skills

- 1 – 2 years of derivative onboarding experience
- A good understanding of OTC (Bilateral and Cleared), ETD and FX
- Ability to manage a high volume of varied tasks efficiently and meeting internal and external deadlines.
- Collecting, verifying, storing, and maintaining accurate operational data.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality onboarding and offboarding experience for our clients
- Previous experience working within an Asset Management firm or similar.
- Previous experience of CFD’s, Term Deposits, TBA’s and Loans would be advantageous.
- Ideally, previous experience of Aladdin, S&P; Global Markit RFA or Markit ‘Onboarding Accelerator’
