Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Cloud-Native Solutions: Design, test, and deploy software applications for the cloud, ensuring agility, security, availability, and scalability.

- Application Modernization: Work with cross-functional teams to assess, strategize, and execute the modernization of existing applications, ensuring seamless migration to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

- Migration Planning and Execution: Plan and execute smooth application migrations from on-premises to cloud environments with minimal disruptions to business operations.

- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish robust monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues post-deployment.

Required Qualifications

- Experience - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications across platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.

- Open to candidates transitioning from traditional development backgrounds.

- Cloud Platform Expertise - Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Application Architecture - Expertise in containers, orchestration, microservices, serverless functions, and cloud service models.

- Familiarity with design principles and patterns such as domain-driven design, service discovery, API gateway, and circuit breaker.





- DevOps and CI/CD - Experience with tools and platforms like Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps.

- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE practices, as well as CI/CD automation tools.

- Programming Expertise - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Additional experience in languages like Go, Rust, Swift, Ruby, PHP, Kotlin, etc., is a plus.

- Frameworks and Libraries - Core experience in J2EE or .NET with frameworks such as Spring Cloud, Micronaut, Quarkus, Vert.x, AWS SDK, or Azure Spring Boot.

- Familiarity with application libraries and frameworks like Angular, React, or Flutter.

- Database Skills - Experience with cloud databases such as Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos, or Google Cloud Firestore.

- Testing Skills - Proficiency in testing and debugging microservices using techniques like unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, contract testing, and performance testing.

- API Development - Solid understanding of API development and testing, including leveraging web services and APIs to integrate with other cloud services and applications.

- Awareness of security and performance considerations in API development.

- Communication and Collaboration - Excellent listening, writing, and speaking skills.

- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum, Kanban, Jira, or Azure Boards.

- Certifications (Optional) - While skills, experience, and learning ability are highly valued, certifications and upskilling initiatives are appreciated.
