Qualification

- DNB / DrNB in Urology from a recognized institution.

- Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.

- Fellowship or additional training in a specialized area of Urology will be an advantage.

Experience

- Relevant experience in Urology after completion of DNB/DrNB.

- Experience in a reputed hospital/healthcare setup preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with urological conditions.

- Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and follow-ups.

- Assist and independently perform urological procedures and surgeries as per clinical expertise.

- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, OT, ICU, and other clinical departments for integrated patient care.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, case sheets,



and medical records.

- Participate in emergency and on-call services as per hospital requirements.

- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.

- Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection-control practices.

- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical discussions, audits, and quality initiatives.

- Support academic activities, case presentations, and training of junior medical staff when required.
