Associate / AVP Change the Bank-10 + years-Chennai

We are looking for an experienced Change the Bank / Operations Transformation professional to drive process improvement, governance, service management, productivity enhancement, and transformation initiatives across Operations. The role will work closely with Operations, Risk, Technology, Quality, Finance, and senior stakeholders to deliver measurable business improvements.

Responsibilities –

1. Lead end-to-end process diagnostics, root cause analysis, process reengineering, and To-Be process design across Operations functions.
2. Drive governance forums, steering committees, portfolio reviews, service reviews, and senior management reporting with executive-ready dashboards and governance packs.
3. Monitor service performance, SLA/KPI adherence, TAT, productivity, quality, backlog, capacity utilization, and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
4. Identify and track productivity and efficiency benefits through process simplification, workflow redesign, automation, and elimination of non-value-added activities.
5. Partner with Technology and Digital Transformation teams on automation, RPA, OCR, AI, UAT, implementation readiness, change adoption, and post-implementation benefit tracking.

Requirements –

1. 10–15 years of experience in Banking Operations, Shared Services,



Global Capability Centres, Consulting, Process Excellence, PMO, Service Management, or Transformation roles.
2. Strong experience in process reengineering, operating model improvement, governance management, service delivery transformation, or productivity programs.
3. Experience in banking operations such as KYC, Trade Finance, Loans, Payments, Middle Office, Client Operations, or Credit Operations will be preferred.
4. Strong skills in executive communication, governance reporting, stakeholder management, process mapping, project planning, KPI/SLA management, and data interpretation.
5. Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM and Lean Six Sigma certification will be preferred.
