8 to 10 year’s hands-on experience in Purchase/ Supply chain function from electronics industry.

•

Manage procurement of Electrical & Electronics components including switchgears and sheet metal fabricated parts.

•

Support procurement planning aligned with production schedules and business requirements.

•

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supply continuity.

•

Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and finalize contractual terms.

•

Identify, evaluate, develop, and benchmark vendors with focus on value engineering.

•

Handle import procurement including supplier coordination, documentation, lead-time control, and cost optimization.

•

Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of key materials.

•

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Engineering departments.

•

Lead, supervise,



and develop the purchase team including executives and coordinators; allocate work, review performance, and ensure timely procurement support to manufacturing operations.

•

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and MSME-specific procurement practices.

Individual competency & Offering:

•

Robust knowledge of Electrical and Electronics components sourcing.

•

Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication vendor management.

•

Exposure to imports, logistics, customs coordination, and inventory planning.

•

Ability to analyse demand forecasts and support credit control and payment planning.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
